	#WWSO $150.00 High Quality All Rawhide Indian Hackamore

This very unique bosal is called an “Indian Hackamore”. It is gentler than a bosal. Indian Hackamores have less control than a traditional bosal. The traditional bosal works by putting more pressure on the bridge of the nose where the bone becomes cartilage, is more rigid and heavier which gives more distinct communication. The Indian Hackamore nose is flat instead of round. The chin portion widens and narrows to fit most any size head. The action is most like riding with a halter but with more communication and control. The ends that connect to the reins are crossed so when you pull on say the right rein the pressure goes under the jaw and around to the opposite side to bring their head around to the right. There is a breaking in period for the area under the chin to soften up and shape to your horses head. Vaquero Rawhide Cream is very helpful in speeding up this process and protecting your investment. Great For Bitless Riding!! (These can vary in color & shape some) The inside diameter of the nose closed is typically 19” and the ends are 9” but again varies).

These are the finest braided parachute cord mecates available on the market today. Made from 8 or12 strands of military style parachute cord braided over a nylon core, the 1/2” or 9/16" square rope fits well in your hand and can be held comfortably along with your lariat. The square shape allows easy grip and the parachute cord resists clinging or snagging. This is a favorite with horsemen and clinicians. It is washable, very durable and will give you years of service. It comes with a horsehair tassel and a two color pineapple knot or gaucho knot on one end and leather popper on the other.
